Thermostat Fan

When running the thermostat furnace (or A/C I assume), it seems that the fan (whether on Low or High) runs constantly. I've only been plugged in so far, so not sure if it's the same when you're just running the batteries.

I like the white noise of the fan while sleeping so not a big deal but does the fan always run when you have the thermostat on?

Seems you should be able to either have the fan on or off and the heat/A/C on or off separately?

I haven't sat down and read the manual on it yet, just an observation.

Anyone know if anything can be done?

To make the fan cycle with the A/C or furnace the fan setting needs to be set on auto. having it on hi or lo tells it to stay on all the time.
