Torn & Stretches Vinyl Flooring

We had a renter pull in the slide and it had a wood piece wedged underneath. It left a 2 inch gash and slightly stretched vinyl behind. What's the best way to patch or replace flooring damage?

Sorry to hear your floor got damaged. Renting out your RV has always been a bad idea. People just don't care enough when it does not belong to them. Hope you charged them for the damage. The best advise I can give you other than calling mobile repair shop is to call Forest River and ask them how they fix tears in flooring.

Put the year, make and model number of your RV in you profile. It makes it easier for others to help you.

I had a trailer floor redone a couple of years ago and used a local flooring company do the work.

People have actually been really respectful and this is the first damage case in the 10 months I've been renting. Plus, I've made over $20k renting it out.. which is very much worth it

Heck yeah. We rent our pop up. No major issues and making money on something that isn't being used.
We had a similar incident happened on our last trip, except for it was a sea shell. Ripped a hole and scratched the floor pretty good.

Anybody have a particular adhesive they recommend? I have a tear in my vinyl, caused by a screw the slide out rolled over a few times.

renting mmmm.... Do you have to have special Insurance on it for strangers driving your rig, seems like a huge liabilty. But very profitable!

Hey honey,

Take a look at this stain in the mattress.

What do you think it is?

GROSS

Bought our RV after an unfortunate trip and hotel stay in ???? Nevada, and the resulting insect bites after our night stay.

RV ownership means only my own filth in my own bed.

I am too “phobic” to share a bed, toilet, etc with others.

But if the 20,000 ducats means that much, who am I to object.....
