The Honda CRV used to be the top option I saw being used as a toad by most. But Honda changed the transmission being used in the CRV for 2015 and it is now not rated to flat tow, but an older unit would still work great.

2015 fit with manual transmission can be flat towed.

2015 Fiat's with manual transmission can also be flat towed.

2014/2015 Toyota Corolla 6 speed manual can be flat towed. 29/37 MPG. Use an Invisibrake with mine and love it.

How did the FR3 handle towing a vehicle up grades? Just curious before I decide to buy s dinghy
