If you don't mind sharing. What kind of trade in deal do you get being that it's not that old

I'm sure I could have gotten a better deal. But my deal was okay. When you trade in the only real benefit is tax. Gas RV'S depriciate pretty fast. What I will tell you is the DP is unbelievably easier for wife to drive. It's like the difference between a old 4x4 pickup to a Lincoln Town car. Now it's 6 to 7 foot longer, but the storage is unbelievably more.

Good luck on your new rig. I'd have to disagree with gas RVs depreciating any faster than a diesel pusher. JMO. A more expensive RV will depreciate more $$ than a gas unit, but we're only dealing with a $80k unit vs $175k unit. All in all, the FR3 fits its market, the budget Class A campers.

I completely agree with you. The market for gas units are on the rise due to fact Millennials are now in the market to purchase rv's. They are looking for something practical. I have a 2018 30DS and have been traveling the US for 3 months now and I get more complements on my unit saying it's just the right size for them.

Stephan FR3.

Congrats on your trade up! Sad to see one the original owners no longer will be here to share. You and I have (had) the same model / year and almost identical solves / mods.

I looked at the Thor some years ago but chose the FR3 based on the lower price. Good luck. Maybe illl have to test drive a Thor!
