Transfer switch location?

Transfer switch location?
Hello friends! I have a 2016 FR3 30DS, less than six weeks old and apparently my transfer switch is bad according to the tech on their helpline. Does anyone know where it's located on this model, the engineers in charge of hiding stuff have done a good job on this one LOL.

Follow your shore power supply inside and first box it goes in, should be it........or you might not have a transfer switch...see thread below. Also in FR3 features it does not mention transfer switch.

My understanding is that the FR3 doesn't have a transfer switch to have power from the generation to the coach you have to plug it in the outlet in the compartment with the power cord.

My 2014 has no transfer switch. It plugs into itself ( the generator female outlet is located in the power bay). If you have a female generator plug in your power bay then you don't have a transfer switch.

If you have an outlet plug in the compartment where your cord is, you do not have a transfer switch. Unless they've made a change, FR3's do not have one. My 2014 did not. I added an auto transfer, 30 amp surge protector, and an inverter. All are working great!

Pardon my ignorance, but after you start the generator, it takes like 10 seconds before you hear a beep (I think from the microwave) when the 120v is turned on. What switch is that? I thought that was the/a transfer switch. I'm new to RVs, so feel free to correct me. :-)

Having your 30 amp cord plugged in, It will take a few seconds after you start the generator to hear your microwave beep. It's not from a transfer switch (I'm referring to FR3's here). It's just your system kicking in normally.

transfer switch

I appreciate the responses from everyone! It's becoming apparent that I do not have a transfer switch in my 2016 FR3. As you can guess I'm very new to this. My RV is currently in front of my house, haven't even been on a trip yet, and yesterday with the generator on, all of a sudden I lost power to the outlets, AC, satellite, etc. The tech on the coach-net service line had me turn the generator reset button on and off, turn the main breakers on and off and when power did not come back on, told me I probably have a bad transfer switch and would need to take it in for warranty service. Very frustrating to say the least. I guess I'll be finding my nearest Forest River service center. AAAARGH!

There is an additional Generator Breaker mounted to the right side on the Generator Control Panel that has the start switch on the Generator itself. Open the Generator compartment, Remove the Generator cover, Look between the oil fill and the start switch. It is on the side and looks like a household light switch but black.
