No it was not the same model. I was able to go back to the dealer yesterday and they gave me the manual and remote that came with the new one. Go figure why they didn't just include it with the tv in the first place. It was boxed together with it and being replaced under warranty, so no cost to the dealer.

I was kind of afraid of that....
I have (3) TV's in my FR3 30 DS... one outside, one in the bedroom and the one in the living area / kitchen....(the latter is the one that went out)
I'm a little worried that if the factory is now using a different brand or model, I'll have 2 different remotes for the 2 different TV's.
In the very least if the factory went away from the Furrion's then that kind of means they might have a problem or have known there is a problem and they want to switch brands. That then leaves me with (2) other TV's that are prone to and may possibly go out without warning.
It's ironic though.... I bought this FR3 because I thought the quality was pretty good, and that I liked the TV's... we go to a lot of college football games and watch a lot of sports... so the one thing that attracted me to the coach was the TV's... and low and behold that's the biggest problem now.
It goes in tomorrow for diagnostics and to plan out what to do from here.

The first night in our Puma 30THSS, the Furrion TV went Tango Uniform. Our selling dealer, Fun Town RV in Cleburne, TX, fiddled around with no real response and a whole lot of foot shuffling for three months. FR stepped in and we had a new Furrion in three days, WITH manual and proper remote. No issues with the TV since.

It's still a Furrion , just the newer model that's going in the 2016's. Buttons are on the left side instead of the bottom right. The remote is totally different.

That's what I thought would happen... they'd update the TV and I'll have to pay attention to which remote I use now....
I guess I'll just have to be glad it's fixed....

The electronics in the FR3 are cheap from what I can tell. The dash radio was draining our battery at the engine. Then it failed to work. I googled the part # and it was just a no name brand for about $50.00. I replaced it for about $99 with a Sony radio and no more battery drain.

I suspect the TV's are cheap as well, thought they do seem to be specific for an RV with the setup features. Definitely not easy for some family members to figure out how to work the remote control. But at least we can connect external devices like streaming media player (ROKU) and a Wii console.
