Angio, I bought a hdmi splitter, ran hdmi cables to the outside tv and bedroom TV. Some folks go wireless hdmi and that works for them.

If you are splitting a satellite signal, you need a special splitter or you'll block critical frequency bands. It's not the same as splitting a cable TV signal. I don't know the specific splitter you need, but do your research beforehand.

I don't know how the Dish tech wired ours, but if we want to watch what is on the LR tv (where the box is), we do a scan and whether it is the outside tv or the BR tv, channel 3 shows whatever is on the LR tv.

Old Coot, sounds like you have an RF convertor in there somewhere, which is what I use. Maybe not as good definition as using wireless hdmi, but less expensive.

Watching Satellite programming in the bedroom or outside
So if I purchase this splitter and thanks to Fred for the link, I will be able to watch Dish programming in the BR and outside with no extra wiring? I guess my main question is are all three TVs link with each other?

I am not familiar with Dish receivers. If your receiver has an RF out, that might work. DirecTV receivers no longer have an RF out so you have to connect an RF convertor to the receiver and then use the RF out from the convertor and tap it into the antenna lead between the wall and your main TV with a bidirectional splitter -- not the one mentioned above. Maybe somebody out there with Dish can give you better info. That's just what I do.

No the TV's are not linked together you will need a box for each tv you watch. You could probably use the bed and outside as a shared box by moving it inside or outside.

I'm trying your idea and I'm lost in where and how to fish the wires to the BR and outside TV. Is it possible to see where and explain you ran the wiring.

I have Direct TV and I used the Audio L-R and video to feed a RF convertor. Then send the RF Channel 3 or 4 to the BR and outside TV's. Not HD but good enough. You can switch the DTV remote to RF and control the channels from any location

So I started to install the 25 foot hdmi cable and my better half suggested I stop being cheap and buy the wireless. I agree
