Wink

Sediment from anode rod in water heater clogged ever faucet, toilet, and shower in my unit when it was de-winterized. Learned a hard lesson, to remove the anode rod and purge water heater before charging water system for first time. I have since purchased a new rod for install next spring. This fall I will take the old rod, cut off anode portion and put it back into heater as a plug for the winter. Hopefully next spring things will go a lot easier.
