what can I expect to pay?

Seeing 2016's starting to hit the lots on RVTrader for the same asking price as what my local dealer is asking for the 2015 30DS we want. How far down can I expect to push him without offending them? lol I might have to play the " I'll wait until fall for the 2016" game if he won't budge I guess. BTW Dealer is asking 84,900.

We were planning on purchasing a 2015 Wildcat MAXX and actually had placed a $1,000 to hold it. We were not going to close the deal for 3 weeks since it was a long way from home. Our dealer called and said he had someone in his office that wanted the exact model we had on hold. He offered to replace the 2015 with a 2016 that he would order and meet our pickup date. The best part was, he sold us the 2016 at the same price as the 2015 we negotiated for. Sure enough, he met our pickup date and honored the price--net result, he sold 2 trailers and made 2 customers happy. Bottom line, unless there is a big price jump in next years trailers or the new ones been out for a long time, there will not be too much difference in price on the current year models!

I'm thinking depreciation once I leave the lot with a 2015 when the 2016's roll in the same day. looking on RV trader for 2014's, they seem to be about 10k less than a 2015 so I should be able expect to some wiggle room if he wants to move the unit? they have several of these on the lot so I will have to see if they can be pushed a bit. Calling tomorrow. lol

Take whatever the MSRP price is, reduce by 35% and start from there. That's straight from the experts. It worked for us.

You paid 73k for your FR3 30ds? I'm looking at an msrp of 111,254

It's a starting point. They have plenty of wiggle room. My FR3 is a 2014 and we paid under $75k. Just don't let them lead the deal. I'd bet you could knock at least $5k off what the dealer is asking. And don't let them sell you an ext. warranty. You can get a better deal elsewhere.

35% is a good starting price to work from, but expect the final price to be nearer 25-30% Walk away if it's less than 25%. You might want to negotiate a free hitch in the deal too. We didn't get a free hitch, but got one at 50% from the MSRP.

30% is what I paid 2 years ago. Shop the online dealer around Indiana.

what can I expect to pay?

Does 83k out the door sound okay for a 2016 30DS? Taking a 4k hit on my trade in.

Congrats Mr Bill. !

You live in NH? Or just purchased it there? I'm in Mass. Purchased my 2014 from Campers Inn in Raynham Ma very close to our home. Purchased it Used as a trade in with 1200 miles on it.

Once we knew what we wanted we shopped on line and found one in Merrimack Campers Inn. Asked the local salesman to transfer it to Raynham and we bought it after trading our TT
