What holds this on?

I've recently noticed the main slide top front right Square trim board scrapes on the wall mounted trim board on in and out.

Ideally I suspect a cable adjustment but the easy solution is to remove the Square cap and run a quarter inch off the top with my table saw. I took the plastic cap off. Can't tell if it's held in place with a finishing nail and I should just pry it off or if it's a small wood screw.

Is the trim on the wall sagging?

I didnt try removing that part when i had to replace the gearbox and retension the cable system. Check the trim on the wall (slide in a 6 inches) and make sure the "high quality" wood work isnt sagging and causing the rub. The cover panel is held on by the screws under the wood plugs. 3 per side i believe. i had to do this with the slide fully in....and that is not comfortable.

If your slide is out of adjustment, then I would get it aligned. An out of alignment slide can lead to bigger issues such as torn seals and water leaks not to mention gearing issues.

Agreed. If the cables are not equal in tension (all inside tight when slide in / all outside tight when out / tight) then they need adjustment. For the accuslide system our FR3's use this is 1/2" up/down (total 1") is what the correct tension (tightness) is. And getting it out of adjustment on one side / one half could easily cause it to bind/scrape.

Check your 4 cables and see if the wiggle up and down the same...and if they are within the 1" total up/down from rest. Check with slide in and out.

If you search accuslide adjustment on youtube you can watch the factory video on how to adjust. They make it look easy and it is....but getting to the adjustment points can be 'FUN'.

In actual answer to your question, "should I pry it off or is it held on with a wood screw?" I believe it will just be stapled on. the little trim piece covers the staple. You should be able to pry it off. However, not knowing the unit personally, I may be wrong.

Mine were fastened with staples. I pulled it straight out, and replaced it by gently tapping.

99% sure that its fastened on with a long staple.

Its a small wood screw (square fastener), just buried in the soft MDF wood. You'll find out that the upper trim piece is sagging, causing it to catch on that corner trim piece as your slide goes in/out. I'm about to re-create that trim piece since I've had to visit this trim about 2-3 times. And there is no easy way to manually retract the slide. So I'd like to put something on hinges, lighter in weight too.
