What is everyone using to protect and shine your FR3

So many waxs and finishes on the market to keep your FR3 looking brand new. What are you using? What works best for you?

Since it's such a PITA I use Prolong super protectant. They are known for their additives but the protectant lasts for over a year. Expensive.

o you have to type in the product number to get the correct product. Ie:
60128 super protectant in Google

I use this Welcome to Finish First Polish on my fiberglass. Easily applied and wipes of easily even after 24 hrs. Lasts all year and provides a great shine that little sticks to. Been using it on my Harleys for years. Works just as well on painted aluminum.

I use Shurhold's Pro Polish Wax. It's not cheap either, $22.98 - 16 oz. - $109.98 gal. You can sometimes get it cheaper on line from Amazon or Ebay. It's the easiest wax I have ever put on. I put it on with a micro pad and wipe it off with a cloth. No white powder, comes off easy, even after being on the surface over night. The first time I used it, I planned on using my 10" buffer, but it was more trouble using the buffer than applying it and wiping if off by hand. Because of my experience, a lot of my RV'ing friends now use the product. The product is primarily directed at the marine market, but it works great on my Rockwood 8315 BSS. Yep, its much easier than wax as it is a technical seal. I still use a 10 inch buffer but that is because I have a bad back. Really the trick is to put on enough to cover and no more. That way the buffing is much easier.
