I've mapped every fuel up over my ~10k miles. The low dips are usually from prolonged generator usage (like when we left the state for hurricane, or when we got back and had to run generator for 12 days).

If i'm not running the generator and keep it around or under 70 I get close to 7mpg or so. Heavy foot (most of the time) drops me down to about 6.5 towing. Without the 2dr wrangler behind me I would imagine I could get closer to 8, especially not pushing it hard. I got 7.5 once towing by keeping it at 60.

I want to live and buy gas where you travel! I doubt we see that price again anytime soon...

1994 Chevy one ton crew cab 4x4 dually, gas 454 with a $6000.00 banks package. No lack of power. got 4.5mpg average carrying my 6000 pound Okanogan dual slide out camper while towing my boat. Oddly enough I get 5.5 pulling my 10,000 pound 2018 295QSL8 fifth wheel. That is NOT going over the cascade mountain passes, however. I have not done that yet with this unit.

I used the Fred Meyer Fuel Program to get $1 off per gallon up 35 gallons. They are good at Fred Meyer or Shell gas stations.

I use GasBuddy to find nearest gas station. GasBuddy: Alaska Gas Prices - Find Cheap Gas Prices in Alaska

I look for every discount I can find to save money.
