Are you thinking of the Truma AquaGo?

https://www.truma.com/us/en/products...er-heater.html

If so, from my understanding is the 'plus' model which guarantee's constant temp at the tap needs to be built into the rig at the factory while it's being built and can't be retrofitted in.

Water saving device

I believe the device you are discussing is the Showermiser from Aqua View.
I believe it is available from Camping World and other sources.
As mentioned earlier, you do need to plumb a return line to a low pressure cold water line (water pump intake or to fresh water tank).
Hope this helps
