Why does my furnace come on and run forever and once shut off never come back on again

Furnace Problem on a 30 ds

Have you checked your thermostat? The thermostat determines when/if you need heat & how much.

I have been thinking it was the thermostat as I have to shut it off and turn it on after to get it working once again after it never seems to shut off...New motorhome and this just bugs me....thank you for responding

laz,

Were you able to resolve the problem?

I've installed numerous thermostats for various applications & about 10% of them have been defective.

I think we will wait till we get home and then I will take it in to get fixed as it's new and under warranty.

Lazbo, I had a TT that did this exact thing. Swapped out to new digital thermostats and that fixed the problem.

I had mine on fan instead of auto (au) and it just kept blowing until I figured it out.
