Window metal handles fall off?

FR3 30DS 2013 model
The bar used to push open the window keeps slipping off.
Tried putting the rubber and bar back on. Still keeps coming off after one or two uses, opening and closing the window.
Trying to figure a way to keep it on.

Suggestions??

I used silicone to fix mine on a Class C a few years ago. Worked fine until I traded it in.

We open and close this dinette window a lot, so I would like to fix it right the first time. Could one of you give me details on what you did and how long it held? In the meantime, is there any danger the window will fall out while driving?

I just had the same problem. I used goop adhesive. I put some inside the rubber and put that back, then added some to the metal handle and pushed it back over the rubber. Dried overnight and it is holding tight.
