Windshield leaks

I have a 2014 30DS

I have worked out most of the numerous bugs myself but am stumped by the windshield leaks.

An authorized dealer had the gasket reset but it still leaks.

I have tried numerous sealants but cannot stop the leaks.

Thanks in advance for any help!

The rubber seal is just for looks. Though a bad attempt because they don't fit.

Its not the rubber you see on the outside of the glass thats leaking its the seal between the glass and the frame the black stuff that looks like chalking that is applied prior to the window being set. the only way to fix it correctly is to lift the glass and reseal around it after cleaning the surface area.

You should contact Forest River, they know about the windshield problem and may cover it under warranty. When they checked my 2014, it had pits on the windshield, whiched caused the leaks. FR had it replaced, and an auto glass shop replaced the windshield.

There is a long, prior thread on this issue. Dealership tried to fix mine 4 times, but failed. I made FR3 aware so it's on them outside the warranty period. FR3 Warranty Manager for FR is Kevin Stratton. I'm in southern CA, so I don't have to worry about it, though it does leak slightly when I wash it. I have a 2015, but another 2014 owner I know just told me last week his ended up being the seal where the front cap meets the roof that was actually allowing water in, then it would run down to the windshield after multiple failed attempts to "fix" the windshield. Good luck, it can get frustrating.
