fresh water tank loc
Where exactly is the fresh water tank on a 26TH? Just wondering if filling it adds more tongue weight or balances out the weight more.

Do you have a gravity FW fill? If so it should be close to the fill.

fresh water tank location
you say "Close to the fill". Huh? I'm not asking how to fill it. I have the FW tank you fill for boondocking and the city water connection for full service camping (concrete camping), like normal campers.
I just want to know where the 48 gal FW tank is mounted on the TH frame. I could assume right below the FW inlet, but... I'll have to remove the under belly skirting to figure it out.

He didn't think you were trying to fill it. When anyone comes on here and asks someone else to locate their FW tank, the standard answer is "near your FW tank fill". Look under there and see if there's a FW tank drain there. The drain is usually "near the FW tank".

According to the blue print that was supplied by Coachmen, the fresh water tank is located from just behind the front axle and going forward to the front of the trailer. My drawing shows it running from the front axle and going forward to about the left side of the door frame.
I would think that it would add more weight to the tongue but I don't think it would be 1:1.

@IIr, sorry I didn't understand your statement, but reading it again makes perfect sense.
@cliffy49. That is a very helpful blueprint, thanks. How did you get a copy of that from coachmen?

The 26TH has MANY low point drains all underneath the camper. I think about 8 of blue and red PEX pipe side-by-side. Can't confirm the number right now. Always wanted to know where these low point drains connect to. Cliffy49, do you know or how I can find out?
thanks

At the risk of being called too simplistic......
Have you tried filling the fresh water tank and just 'listening' to where the water goes? On both my rigs, I can hear the tank filling.... especially when I first start adding water. This works best when you've drained the tank from underneath the rig.
The low point drain on the fresh water is usually a clear tube and is usually located very near the fresh water tank. No guarantees though.
Many low point drains? That's interesting. You'll probably need two people to find the source. Those red and blue drains drain the hot and cold water lines. With one person near the open drain, have someone inside the rig open faucets one at a time. The low point drain should release water when the faucet is open. My guess would be that the low point drains will be near the location of the faucet in the rig.

Could you please post a pic? Many of us have never heard of any unit having that many low point drains.

WOW! 8 low point drains! I too would like to see a picture.
Cavie... never heard of a manifold on a TT.
What would you think it would be for?

My 26TH has 4 low point drains (2 blue and 2 red) and 1 fresh water drain. They are all located on the driver or street side of the unit. I have no idea exactly what they are connected to but I do think that the front one will also drain the hot water tank.
You may be able to contact Coachmen via e-mail to find out. They have been very helpful with my questions.

I did contact coachmen via email and they answered very quickly. Here is what they said: (I wasn't inquiring about winterizing, but he responded with good info)
Typically the low point drains are drains that T off the water lines to allow for the drainage of the water lines. These are often used when storing the coach and for winterizing the coach. In GA you will need to winterize the coach either yourself or take it to the dealer to winterize. If you do it yourself, please be sure to winterize the outside shower.
There are videos on youtube that can be instructive on that process

I have no Idea what he has. A manifold is the only thing that comes to mind with 8 pipes. A manifold system with individual valves makes very good sense until you remember this is RV construction we are talking about.
