Grey water tank

The other day I was washing my hands inside my trailer and I thought I'd check to see what the level was at. I checked the grey water level and it said full.

I thought wow thats weird I haven't used the water that often.

So I hooked up my 27gal Thetford portable waste tank and drained the tank.

After about 15 mins I shut the valve off. I pulled the portable waste tank and it felt very light.

Thought ok there must be gunk or something that are hanging up on the sensors.

I drained the portable tank on my lawn and seen some black slime substance.

I thought hmmm, maybe I need to fill and drain the tank again.

I did so and more slime stuff come out.

Any ideas as to what this is and should I be worried ?

Looks like it's had grey water stored in it for some time. I would dump a gallon of SuperClean in it, fill it with water, let set for about 24 hrs, drain about 1/2 of it and then take the camper for about a 10-15 mile ride and come back and drain it again.
