Evo T2990

Wife and I are considering to purchase Evo T2990. We would pull it with Ford F-150 FX4, 3.5 eco boost, 6.5 ft bed. I havenít seen any reviews for the T2990. Anyone here have one and want to share their experiences with this model?
Thanks everyone!

I have a 2850 and love it. Few few issues. Just switched out the oven for a convection oven. Biggest con is lack of power outlets in kitchen area

I would consider a bigger truck. I know that trailer says half ton towable, but that will go out the window once you fill the fresh water tank and add your gear in the trailer and truck bed.

We have a 2700 and initially pulled it with a Ram 1500 which was fine with just my wife and I. Once we had our twins and started loading up with all the extra kid stuff it got sketchy towing the trailer. Every gust of wind and semi truck pushed me all over the road.

We ended up upgrading the truck to a Ram 2500. With the 3/4 ton it’s like night and day and I don’t have to stress about how much we pack.

Since you’re considering a bunkhouse I’m guessing you have kids so you’ll have a truck full of people plus all the stuff they pack. If you’re set on that trailer I would seriously consider a 3/4 ton truck.

Evo2700,
Thanks for your input. Yes, we do have kids. Ages 3,9. This year would be out of the question to upgrade my truck, as I just purchased my wife a boat, and a Honda Pilot last year.
Our plan this year is to take it to an RV park in the delta and come out on the weekends. We may have to get through this season with my truck.
Thanks again!

You’re truck will probably do okay, but with a family of 4 and you’ll have a much better and more relaxing tow. As long as you’re happy and comfortable with it is all that really matters.
