Good question. The slide butts up to the the counter. The fridge will open, you just can't get to it. I guess you could come in the front door if necessary.

Maybe 1/2 " opening. No way it would open. Not a big deal. If the slide blocked the furguson that may be different.;o)

I like the floor plan of the 2460. The separate chairs would be really nice. Good luck! You will love the Evo!

UPDATE: Now that I have had some time camping with the 2460, I have discovered that access to fridge requires the slide to be partially out, regardless of which entry door you use.

We can get to our fridge but it is a PITA to get around the recliner.

A small cooler in the back seat with a belt over it works very well.

I'm also looking @ either 2360 or 2460 I'm leaning towards the 2360 due to weight and length the tongue wgt on the 2460 is significantly higher
I'm towing with a 1/2 ton
Both units are really nice floor plans
I'm also considering the coachmen 248rbs not sure if I like laminate exterior? The coachmen has an outdoor kitchen which seems like it would be useful
How is the overall quality on EVO vs Coachmen?

Haven't had too many quality issues that I can think of- only major problem had to do with the awning. If you have a drawer under your couch, make sure it is tied down in a closed position. Mine opened on the road and left a large hole in the cabinet across from it.

Did you do a warranty claim? I had the curved cabinet in the kitchen open in transit and crack. Dealer was able to fix it under the warranty.
