Les good idea about the awning hold down. Ive got an electric one and I dont want it ruined. My old TT had a manual one and I got tired of rolling it twice a day. My new TT has an anchor system but I dont know how good it is. I'll have to look into this a little more.

SuicideSaints, our floor plan is very similar to yours....looks like the only difference is our electric bunks and the bunk door. We have been very happy with ours. We had a few issues but they were covered under the warranty. We swapped out all the bulbs for LEDs and put a solar trickle charger on the roof to keep my batteries charged in storage.

Hondaman, can you send me info on the LED light strip you put on the awning?

Evo2700 we looked at your floor plan too, we loved the second outside door from the bathroom and that is what sold us. Before we saw the 2850 we were set on the 2700.

Evo- I went with these in bright white as all of my outside lights are in bright white now.

And the controller:Globle New LED Dimmer Controller 12V Switch ON/OFF LED Strip Light Dimmer Controller Multi Mode https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HTXICGK..._O.x1ub11279ZX

The hardest part was running the wire. Some run thermosat wire, I used sprinkler wire with 4 leads if I decided to upgrade to the multi color set later.

We look like the Luxor at some campgrounds when the awning light is on- we can alwYs find our way home. Others like warm white- little easier on the eyes.

Thanks! I'll check out those links. I don't think we will make the rally. My wife is pregnant with twins so we need to save up our vacation time for when they are due in August. I am going to try and convince her to go to the ghost town one in October though, but that will be unlikely too lol.

Well talk with your "boss" since it will be the last of the "quiet time" for a while. Lol

I remember that you are planning on the nascar race in March but I will keep you in the loop if we do any more group outings. Still waiting for the reservations to open back up for my charleston- I will let you know when they do cause so far we have about 6 families wanting to do a weekend up there.

stabilizer jacks

If your rig came with stab jacks, you will want to reinforce before you use them. They are made so cheaply that they will bend with little weight on them. I welded some ange iron on the sides and legs. Now I can put on h and enough to actually stabilize the trailer.

Good idea, I reinforced mine by splitting a 27" long pc of 2-1/2" sq. tubing and tapering the ends and welding on the bottom of the legs.
