Sounds like a plan. Once I get them in hand, I'll be able to see if they are 12V or 120V etc. From there its just finding the place to tap in. Thanks for confirming what I was thinking.
I see on Olcoot's picture that his wiring goes into the black panel in lower left of frig access. So I'll start there.
By the way Turbs, I see you are a mechaninc. What do you think of this deal for my 1995 k1500? I got new a/c compressor with 2 yr wty, orifice and canister, plus new water pump, hoses, themostat and system flush, all installed for $325. Did I do alright? Installer is a mechanic at a local privately own mechanic shop that does some work after hours.
