340BH Kitchen Sink Leak

So I've noticed a few times now that I get major leaks from under the kitchen sink.

It seems to be a slow leak from where the hard lines hook up to the flex line.

Basically the pipe goes down, then hooks to the flex line - then loops UP so it's a natural trap. Water just sits there on the connection from hard line to the flex hose and leaks leaks leaks.

It's ruined part of our lower cabinets as we had it parked for winter and a ton of water/rv antifreeze leaked out all.

Has anyone had this problem? We've removed and re-connected the two multiple times but it always leaks again.

I talked to the dealer I purchased it from but they could really give a crap. It's been a little over a year so I guess that explains it.

Included picture attached for location where it's leaking. Anyone else having this problem? How did you fix it?

I was thinking about replacing part of the flex hose with a rubber hose or something then re-linking to the flex hose below?

Just a thought. How about pvc primer then pvc cement then clamp. If you are going to replace that part of the flex hose anyway, why not.

At this point I'll try anything. It's just annoying the design because even if I get it not to leak, it will still be a natural trap that stagnant water just sits in.

I found another old thread where people were talking about the flex hose kinking, it's just crazy all the crap design on these rigs.

I purchased and installed a 90 degree angle fitting, cut the flex hose and installed it right where the flex hose was going into the floor. It solved the kinking problem and the flex hose is now laying flat on the floor, not holding any water in it.

It is.. I understand the reason for the flex line is because it moves a bit, but it's just crazy that they use a hose clamp on a flex line the way they did. It just doesn't seal well at all.

I never noticed, but there is a drain pipe that comes out of the back and wraps back around towards the cooktop/bunk beds.

Anyone have any idea where this drain comes from? It looks like it hooks in right before the flex line.

Second is a picture of the pipe going back behind where the bunks are (this picture is from after I removed the drawers from the kitchen.)

Does this drain both ways? Through the flex line and through this hard line perhaps?

The pipe is to drain the washer that you do not have
Mine also has two 12/2 romex cables to power the washer and dryer that I don't have, that go all the way back to the breaker box.

Okay I guess I can cut them out and properly fix the plumbing.

This is just a mess, I cant believe what type or lack of quality work they let out of the factory.
