Anyone tried to hookup external speakers to an outside TV

There are no additional speakers to the outside TV on my Legacy( which I don't understand why they did not add any) and the sound is only as loud as the rv speakers can put out. Have anybody added addition speaker to the enclosure to help boost the sound? If so, what brand? Any ideas?

Speakers

We have been using a small portable Bose sound link mini for music, fits right below the tv and can play music via Bluetooth and gets plenty loud.

If your looking for TV sound your probably looking at some sort of soundbar setup that would fit inside compartment below TV and doesn't require a receiver or amp. Polk makes a nice one that we use above the dinette and comes with a small wireless sub, not sure where you would put the sub for outside though.

Let me know what you come up with, I'm interested!

You could buy a Bluetooth transmitter and plug it into the headphone jack of the TV or if there is no headphone jack you can buy a RCA red/white adapter. Then buy a Bluetooth speaker. I use the same setup by my swimming pool.

There is an electrical outlet behind the TV as well if you prefer to leave the transmitter connect all the time rather than taking it in to recharge it.

I'll check it out. We got snow yesterday so my weekend plans are shot for working on it.
