Battery Disconnest Question

I just got back from a 2 week trip and put my Legacy back into storage last Friday. I went into the battery compartments and switched the 2 battery disconnects to off. Yesterday (Thursday) I went back to RV to do some stuff and my house batteries were dead. What did I do wrong? Those batteries showed fully charged when I stored it last week.

Mine did the same thing. I took it to the dealer for some repairs and mentioned it while I was there. The dealer just told me it was normal. If it's normal, then they installed some junk batteries!!!!

Even with the battery disconnected you still have power being drained.

I'm having the same issue with my house batteries. Chassis batteries seem to work much better (Thank goodness!).

Makes no sense to me unless that batteries are in fact junk. It would be interesting to actually disconnect the positive battery cable and see what if any draw there really is even with the switch off. I am not seeing that much phantom draw on my Legacy even with batteries on. Barely one amp.

Sound like the switch may not be disconnecting the battery from the unit. I can leave my trailer un plugged for 3 weeks and the battery is still good. Only electric being used is for the CO2 detector. I do not use the disconnect switch. Later RJD
