Captain's chair covers

Has anyone tried or found any suitable protective covers for the Legacy flexsteel captain's chairs? I have searched quite a bit and everything I find is geared toward vans, and SUV's with bucket seats but are not large enough or have the wrong contour for our seats. Just looking for something to protect the seats from little doggie feet. Although our dog seldom jumps up on our seats since she is told not to, there are times....

Trying to avoid using beach towels since they are a pain.

Not sure about covers but something I've been kicking around is replacing one or both with a captains chair with built in foot rest. Nothing wrong with the stock ones but would be nice to have the recliner option.

Sounds like a nice mod. I made two small ottoman's, covered with matching carpet and stained wood to match interior. Nothing fancy really just a trial. So far they seem OK, they fit under the dash when traveling and can be slid back to allow a change in sitting position for the co pilot as well. We use one while sitting on the couch.

Looks functional! We have been using the cube storage ottoman.

I'll probably wait for the chairs to start showing some wear before I get serious about changing them out.
