If you mean the drop down table ....... it's OK but I find it weaker on the end. You feel it flex and give if you lean on it while playing cards. Makes me fell like its pulling out of the wall...... but it's not.

Finally have all the materials, took me a bit to track down upholstery. We bought some from a DIY store that did not match as good as we would like. I finally called Williamson Furniture in Indiana, the original manufacturer and they were very friendly and helpful. Sent out a number of swatches, one was a very close match and it's on the way. I'll get this done yet! Hard to accomplish in a moving motorhome. An upcoming trip around Arizona for a few weeks then I'll attack it.

Good for you. We have very much enjoyed ours and it makes a great pantry. I think I mentioned it somewhere but remember to shim up the front-bottom of the bench about 1/4 to 1/2 inch so that the drawer will slide all the way out when the slide is in. Otherwise the draw hits the floor about 1/3 out. With the slide "IN" the bench/drawer points just a bit down. Shimming it up just a little will cure that issue.

Enjoy and let me know if you have any questions

Thanks Marine One, you saved me the design phase. We are finally home and I got off the dime and completed this little project. Came out great. I may have to put a stronger catch to prevent the drawer from coming out on mountain roads, we'll see. DW is delighted. The exact upholstery is not longer available, however the folks at Williamsburg Furniture in Elkhart were great to work with in finding me something that is so close you can't tell the difference. Price was very reasonable so I ordered a crazy amount to allow for a learning curve.

The pics looks great. Very nice job. Glad you are happy with it. It's served us well and I'm sure it will do the same for you.

Hello,

From your pics it looks as though we have the same color upholstery. Would you mind sharing the name of the upholstery you used?

Thanks!

Nice project

Very nice project you completed. Not very handy so I would not attempt this myself.
