I hated the cup holders that don't seem to hold any size cup and not having a place to put anything within reach while driving. I made a tray out of a cutting board from Walmart and cut a hole hole the size of the cupholder. The cupholder is the same size as the outside diameter of 3" ABS pipe. I used a small piece of pipe to couple the cupholder with a 3" ABS couple fitting. Now it is taller and holds any size cup including the 30 oz Yeti tumbler. The old cupholder anchors the new tray on the coach and I added two 3" 90 degree metal shelf brackets underneath to provide stability. One side of each bracket is bolted to the tray allowing the other side to simply rest against the coach below to keep it from tilting towards the seat (since the new tray is wider than what it's sitting on).
Here is the existing cupholder area with some weatherstripping applied that is higher than the leveler controls. This provides stability and keeps the tray off of the control buttons.
A small vanity tray and an office supply cup create a place to put things and hold a stalk for my iPod. Screw eyes on the outside provide spots to click on reading glasses, sunglasses, keys, etc.
The whole thing is very sturdy and functional. As an added bonus, it protects the leveling controls from spills. To operate the levelers, the whole thing just pulls out.
