Extended warranty? for a FR Legacy

Any recommendation on a extended warranty for a Legacy?
I read horror stories on Goodsam roadside assistance and assume their EW would also be just as bad so what else is out there?

I read and searched fairly extensively, and what I found that the entire range of warranties have limitations and exclusions that upset customers. I found none that I didn't easily google for reviews and find multiple people saying that they got bad service, hate the company, would not recommend it... and so on. And some that had great experiences with them and do recommend.... So I went with Good Sam. Good, bad or indifferent... It's what I went with.

None of them cover structural. So for that you want comprehensive from a company like your car insurance one. Just do not have extremely high expectations and you should be happy to be reimbursed for most if not all of your major appliance failures by the warranty. That is my attitude.

Chevy vs Ford on topic asto whether they are worth it and brand of extended warranties. My last RV I used ExtraRide. Happy with them. While I didn't get the cost of the warranty back on repairs, I did have peace of mind and I think it helped with resale, as it is transferable. When factory warranty is up on my unit, I'll go back with them.

I just re-signed with XtraRide (had them on last 5'er). Eagle Vision RV (Billy Lewis) in Georgia (on-line). $4,000 for the 84 month platinum package, $100 deductible, tire protection, and enhanced service ( coverge for mobile site repair) based on $106,000 purchase price of unit, which is how price is primarily determined. I called several XtraRide dealers and he was as much as $2,000 cheaper than some. Price is definitely negotiable. I'm not a real handy guy so peace of mind is worth it for me. Fridge has to be replaced and warranty has paid for itself. Just my opinion.

warranty

Don't buy the extended warranty from dealership, especially if you live some distance from Dealer and of course except long!!!! wait times to get returned from service. That's the way it is at the Katy, Houston Camping World.
If you live near the assembly plant in Ohio, go there!!!!

I paid my selling dealership $1800 for a 5-year Platinum coverage policy from XtraRide. It paid out $4200 on two hefty claims - neither of which were done by my selling dealership. In the case of the last repair, the service center, XtraRide, and the frame manufacturer went into hyperdrive to get this work done. The claim was approved a couple of days before the contract expired and was completed and paid a couple of days AFTER the contract expired. Neither of these businesses was CW!
