Floor mats?

What are you all using for a floor mat on drivers side? Is there something that specifically works for the freightliner? Thnx!

I owned a restoration business and we did new carpet installation as a part of our service. The large carpet sample packs would have a perfect size carpet that I use for mats. They are bound on the edges and are a perfect size. We would get new packs from our supplier every few months. I would try to go to a local carpet store and ask them if they have any large samples they don't need any longer.

I bought an inside door mat that has a rubber backing and a low pile. Works fine and pretty much stays in place. I believe that I bought it in Wal Mart.

We recently pulled the carpet out of our Berkshire to add Allure oak laminate flooring (that post is on this forum). We bought a piece of carpet specifically for the living room slide that had a piece left over big enough to cut a custom mat for the driver and passenger section. I had the mat "bound" at a carpet shop for $30 and it looks and works great!

EJM4 did you have to bring your coach to him or does he have the measurements for a Berkshire?

I had them made while we were at LazyDays. He can send you a template if you want something special or I'm sure they have the template for the Berk.

Campin Cajun would you let me know if they have the template for the Berkshire. That is exactly what I need for mine. Thanks.

Floor mats?

JBoyer, how did you make the template for your floor mat? It looks like a perfect fit but I can't get my head around this for some reason.

FYI, just got off the phone with WADE RV about there entry & step mats and they are $300.00 plus tax. They prefer you to bring the coach to them since no two coaches are the same but he did say he would send me a template that would be close and I would just mark on it if it was to close, short or long and then send it back to them. Once they receive the template back they will make the mat. He said there would be a shipping cost that would be around $20.00 or so. I think I may check Lowes or Home Depot and price out one of there industrial rugs like the pictures on WADE RV and see if I can do it myself.

I spoke with wades today as well about getting a custom mat for out new legacy. Ours is a bit different since we have a mid cabin door. We also have a spot on floor between driver and pax seat for a table when chairs are spun around.

I was going to ask how difficult it is getting the proper dimensions using the templates they mail out?
