Does anybody what vehicle our fog lights may come from? Need to replace one of mine for a broken lens.

I don't have a legacy but a Georgetown and the fog lamps on my coach I had to get from Forest River via a dealer. They come in pairs and are pretty expensive. My part number is: 40E09213A and I had my local dealer order the pair and they sold me just the one I needed. My lens was also broken with the rock still inside the lamp. I think the lamps are proprietary to Forest River made by Hamsar with the mating pigtail to Forest River chassis harness. Yours could be different of course but just wanted to give you a heads up just in case.

I am hoping someone that knows will post. I was wondering what automotive part the fog lights are. Nothing is proprietary to FR, they buy everything and just assemble, the catch is to figure out what the source of each part actually is. The headlights I believe are 2007 Silverado GM pickups, but the fog lights are different. I am looking to buy a spare just to have one I find out what they normally fit.

They look very similar to what is on a 2011 GMC Yukon XL. Friend has that vehicle but haven't had the time to check them out.

I know the headlights are from a Silverado pickup, something like a 2006. Fog lights could be the same. Other than the wiring harness connection, you should be able to use any off the shelf fog light of like size and shape.

The headlights will have manufacturer engraved in the lens along with a body code. I believe 7 is truck division, there will be a letter for body style.

I double checked my email notes on the headlights for the Legacy; they are from a 2007 and later Chevy Silverado truck.

fog/driving lights
Call Mitch at Forest River Service. I had to purchase a pair. I believe the cost was around 90 dollars shipped.

I was planning on contacting my dealer first and see what they would do and then if necessary the factory

I would recommend going through FR. Why, the dealer will tack on 10-20% and then charge to install it. It is easy to install, just loosen the two bolts (9/16") releasing the reducing clamp then slide on and tighten bolts, easy!

Installing it is not a problem, figured the pricing would be list either from the factory or the dealer and the factory usually prefers that you work through the selling dealer.
With the way the headlights are on our unit, I was thinking that instead of replacing just the one broken light I'd upgrade the pair to LED or HID. If we knew what they came from, like the headlight, it would make it much easier searching for a replacement.
Gonna try to work on them this weekend.

Fog Lights
Broken fog light on my Legacy. No markings of any kind on it anywhere. H3 bulb wired in. It's 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
Couldn't upload the pictures.

Take a look online at Pilot fog lights. You can look on their website or Amazon. If you look for the ones that use that bulb, you'll see they have one that's like 3-1/4" diameter. My bet is it may fit.
