Front facing camera
Yes, forward facing. Anyone do this? I connected a RVS-9000 normal camera to the M4-LCD dedicated front camera 5 pin connection. On the camera select screen the front camera is an option and can be selected, but "no signal" is shown. I connected it through video input 2 and got a picture. Video input 2 is not functional for me--only usable while not in motion. My wife can not get out and spot during tight maneuvering, hence the front camera.
Any ideas?

Located a factory camera. Truly plug and play. I used a suction cup mount and 10' cable making it mobile.

Can you give details on make, model and where you purchased it? Sounds like a great addition. Thanks.

Front/4th camera install
Camera is a C125 NMI. The NMI means non-mirror. I got it directly from

The camera and cable arrived very quickly and Mark was very helpful.
The camera has only about a 1 foot cable, so you will need to purchase another cable. I went with the 10 foot cable. In the photos you can see how I mounted and ran the cable. A simple hole drilled and the grommet provided is used to clean up the install. The suction mount is one I had from an old Garmin that failed. Minor mods and the suction mount supports the camera very well. I placed the camera's wind/sun shield on the bottom making another option for placing the camera on a flat surface. The remainder of the 10' cable is simply pushed into the grommet and stays hidden in the dash until needed. The connection to the radio was plug and tighten. You can then select the camera menu and select front camera.
Being mobile, the camera can be positioned anywhere within 10', i.e. side window for night time security etc.
Hopefully this information is helpful for others.
