I already responded to the post on Facebook for him but for anyone else that reads this post: The factory informed me they had someone hooking up the ice maker water line incorrectly. The shut off valve is under the bathroom sink. You must turn to open up the line and then the MOST IMPORTANT: immediately look in your freezer to see if water is flowing out. If it is, turn the valve back OFF because it won't stop running. Then take it in for service. They must pull the fridge out and reconnect the water line to the correct input. You would think the factory would be informing the dealers but apparently not.

Do you know if this was the Whirlpool refrigerator? My Berkshire has the problem of leaking in the ice maker also.

Thanks. I am at the Goshen rally now and the techs are to look at it this week. Glad to hear it might be a simple fix as I was afraid it might be possible the would have to replace the whole fridge.
And I hate to think what all would be involved in that.
I feel better now.
