Legacy Door Step

We moved camp grounds today, and when leaving the door step did not retrack. I cycled the step switch and it finally closed. Made a few stops on our trip to the next CG and the step worked fine. Got to our destination and the step would not come out. I got down on the ground and saw the big gear the moves the step was loose. I got on the ground and used 2 heavy duty bungee cords to secure the step as we are moving in the AM.

We bought the FR Legacy at the end of May and used it 15 nights for camping. The step was exercised in the prep for those nights so add some more usage.

We had so many issues with this coach, I am not happy with the quality of this Forest River Product.

BTW, when we arrived the CG we found hardware for one of the bunk house bifold doors had fallen out. That seems the norm for this coach, the wood screws they used don't hold for long.

Up date on the entrance to the coach, the bottom step inside the coach is also falling out, I didn't notice this but my service guy did. Not sure if it is related to the moving step. Did I mention this is a new coach, used just a few times...
