They do not return calls. Had to drive from WA to AZ to have warranty work done as we bought it in AZ and live in WA but dealers will not work on it WA. Forest Rivers comment "yea we have heard that" ...
We are looking a purchasing a new FR Legacy and we live in Washington state. The local Washington dealer does not have the model we want and our experiences with their sales staff have not been positive. My question is if we purchase out of state, are we really unable to get warranty service from the local Washington dealer (ie Seattle area)? I can't imagine purchasing something this expensive and not being able to get good local service? Or for that matter, traveling the country in an RV and not being able to get warranty service any place...
I can't miss work to drive the RV to another part of the country to get service... the next closest dealership is 300 miles away, from there it leaps to 800 miles away. This could be a show stopper for us!
Also, if currently have a Legacy, would you do it purchase it again? Or would you go with another brand?
