Legacy LED Ceiling Light Lens

Anyone have a clue how to remove the small glass lens on the ceiling mounted LED lights? I have one LED that is a lot dimmer that I think I need to replace or may be loose? Thanks.

They just twist off when you push up on the glass cover. We have had problems with those lights. The ones under the sink have to be replaced and 5 of them down the hall into the bedroom. They are on order. So much for LED lasting forever.

Thanks - just the one issue right now so not so bad. Noticed the lights in the stowage compartments get hot really quick - they put incandescent in there. Guess that's another project, to replace all of those with LED's.

Seems like LEDS last a long time or fail right out of the gate. Have had several generations of them over the last couple years. So far all good on our Legacy.

Hi replaced one in my 2015 v lite that is recessed in the ceiling. I had dealer order new light fixture from FR. I removed the 3 small screws that holds the fixture to the ceiling. Then pull down on the fixture. Watch out for the spring loaded brackets on the side of the light fixture as you pull it out of the ceiling. If not careful you will find out how the mouse feels when the spring gets you. With that said I had the lights off to the fixture I was removing no power. Cut the 2 Leeds after the crimped wire nuts close to the light fixture. Striped the wires back and wire nutted and taped the wires together made sure polarity was right and the light came on. Put back in ceiling very carefully two days later my finger stopped hurting. very good rup goldberg mad:

hope this helps Tim

Picked up a 2016 Legacy 340KP end of Sept and had 7 led ceiling light go out so far. Me thinks there is a quality issue. There're supposed to last years not minutes!

Yep - I think at last count, I had two completely dead and seven partially dead. I spoke with the manufacturer and they said they had some bad shipments. I think they may have had more bad ones than they thought. Taking it in under warranty after the holidays.
