Don't know the exact weight rating of the struts, they were on a shelf at a small local RV store and I grabbed and ran! Bed lifts up with one finger now rather than a floor jack.
Well I installed this today, sort of.
I bought a pair of the 120lb struts which are supposed to be for residential mattress type weight and they were way to strong and wouldn't compress at all.
Returned them and bought a pair of the 40lb struts and they worked fine without the mattress but won't hold it up,with mattress.
The dealer had 60 and 80lb, any thoughts on which is the likely correct one?
Install was easy just not sure the right strength strut....
