I see where I was getting confused now, aeroshots. The 340KP has the bed at the rear of the coach. On our 360RB, the bath is there and there is a hatch in the floor for engine access. The bed is a few feet forward and turned 90 degrees, Thanks for the photos.

Right, that makes since. This potential issue is for the KP version. I tell you what, it is nice to get the access.

Think I will look into doing something similar when I get a chance so I don't have to do it on the road sometime and cause a crisis.

Not sure what you're looking at but I got these on Amazon and they work great: Muchkin Xtraguard Dual Action Multiuse Latches, 2 Count

Saw online and ordered from total value rv. It is actually used on some other make coach that had same refer and is a heck of a lot better than that threaded knob. I think it was like $10 plus shipping.

It should just lift off. The screws on the back of mine sit in vertical slots. Try leaning it a little bit front to back and tapping it up with the heel of your hand.

Did you find an off the shelf stain to match or mix it? I replaced the access covers on the dinette seats and had to blend several stains to get close.

Yes, this one pictured from MinWax has worked very well. Easy to apply, and a couple coats on most any wood seems to match very closely. I've used it on a number of little projects inside the coach.

Hmmm, seems easier than 2-parts Red Mahagony, 1-part Cherry, with a splash of Gunstock, and a dribble of Golden Oak. Lol

Has anyone switched out any of the factory 110v outlets for the type that also have USB ports in the face? I've done that with a few at home for convenience when charging gadgets. Any reason these wouldn't work in an RV?

I have been looking at this, runs off 12-16 volts DC.

https://www.amazon.com/Magnadyne-Bla.../dp/B00ZOG6TBE

Been thinking about mounting one over the dinette table and also in the night stands in the bedroom. Just have to check if there is enough depth.

It's a LOT easier to just plug one of these into the existing outlets:

Your RV outlets don't use electrical boxes. They use outlets that have no external wiring connections. Unless you can find a similar RV-type outlet with USB, you'll have to install an electrical box in which to mount the outlet with USB.

You could add 12VDC powered USB's separately. See here:

https://www.thefitrv.com/rv-tips/how...ts-to-your-rv/

UPDATE:

I did find an RV-type with USB:

It's here: https://www.adorama.com/ntp2u15atra....zP0aAvnm8P8HAQ

Steering Stabalizer and Diesal New Owner

I am upgrading from my FR3 to the Legacy 2017 38c. Does anyone else use a steering stabilizer like the SafetyPlus in diesels (this is my first diesel)?

Anyone else with the 2017 Legacy. Any problems to look out for?

Thanks

Thanks guys, I'm leaning towards putting in a few 12-v models. The tempting thing about the 120 v outlet version is the wires and the hole are already there. Thanks for the info.

I'd like to change out my entry door lockset with one that has combination for keyless entry (don't like the kids running around with the keys to the castle). A few I've looked at online look good but many reviews say they had to make "minor modifications" to either the screen door, the door jamb, or both.

Anyone on here with a Legacy switched out their lock with a clean swap, no cutting or grinding? I thought I saw a few on this forum but can't seem to re-find them now.

Took about 5 minutes to scroll and find it. Good idea by the way.
