A good rule of thumb is about 100 ft. lbs. Any tire dealer will be able to help you. The torque wrench will not be an issue if stored in baggage as opposed to carry on.

make sure your torque wrench goes to at least 150ft lbs.

Yeah - it does. Also as someone else said above. Transport is no problem. It goes in checked baggage.

Looking forward to the drive back. Hope it's not a lemon. lol
