New Diesel owner legacy 38c newby question

I am upgrading from my FR3 to the Legacy 2017 38c. Does anyone else use a steering stabilizer like the SafetyPlus in diesels (this is my first diesel)?

Anyone else with the 2017 Legacy. Any problems to look out for?

Thanks

We've had our 360RB for two years now and about 17,000 miles. Never seen a need for a steering stabilizer. Handles really well, even in high winds. So far as things to look out for, just browse the Legacy forum and you should get a pretty good list of possible concerns.

If it's in the budget, its a nice piece of mind. Needed? Like any suspension/steering on any vehicle. If a steering stabilizer is needed, then there is another issue. In a coach such as the Legacy, ride height front to rear is a large factor in stability. Ride height is easily adjusted on the Legacy.

Yes there where a recall that fixed the issue. Now Iím trying to figure out how to improve the headlights for night driving. They might just need adjusted up a little itís hard to see on dark roads.

We have a 2014 Legacy and Iíd like to have one. It gets a little squirley in high winds or when trucks pass us by. Itís a nice to have, but not a necessity.

My advice is to try it without and add it if you need it. It isnít very expensive and can be self-installed if youíre handy.

I have had no issue with with sway or anything. I would add later if you think you need it. I came from a Thor ace and it was bad.
