That sucks. Hang in there you will be glad when you get it. It's worth the wait. Plus the season is still not
kicked off officially. I'm still buried in 2 ft of snow and it's almost April. Extreme cabin fever!! Nothing like looking at it and can't do nothing with it.

That would drive me nuts. Nothing worse than someone particularly in SALES that does not return phone calls. However, I agree with IROB, hang in there, it will be worth the wait. Might have been better to go get it yourselves. If I ever order one, I will be standing at the end of the production line with arms crossed.

My Legacy is MIA!!

So, officially, no on knows where my RV is, currently. Forest River says it left their lot Monday with Horizon Transport and they usually "inspect it for 24 hours" before they drive it to the dealer....FR Rep "called Horizon several times and hasn't heard back". Dealer said today they are waiting for a "check in call" from Horizon transport!!!! Nothing!
When we ordered it our dealer said going there to get it ourselves wasn't an option. I should have applied as a driver for Horizon transport....

OMG you are killing me here. I think if a dealer ever said anything like that to me they would finish their sentence talking to my rear end as I left. There is always the option of getting it yourself. They just wanted the markup for delivery. Watching every word you post as a learning experience. Have a friend who ordered a Dutch Star, sent pots/pans and clothes via UPS to the factory, showed up there, and left on a 3 month trip after a look over by the local dealer.

As of yesterday, FR finally "found" my new Legacy and the shipping company says "it will be in NOVA Monday a.m.". We have scheduled our delivery for Thursday morning IF, IF, IF it comes in tomorrow!! We have brought all the bins/boxes upstairs and have piles of stuff in the formal living room ready to be loaded in the Legacy....

Finally Arrived at Dealership!!

I got the call at 9:30 am. It finally came in! Went over to the dealership around 11:30 to make sure it was really there! Poor baby was so dirty and covered in salt/chemical! We take delivery Thursday as long as everything is in order! Can't wait to bring it home! Thanks for all your support fellow Legacy friends!

Congratulations - we are picking ours up on Thursday also. Can't wait. Ours has been there since January, but because of weather we have not taken delivery. One major item we found in the inspection - and the other 2 Legacy's on the lot had the same issue was the bunk motor was not working. They have replaced it and we should be good to go. A couple of other minor issues but otherwise looks good, and I'm sure we will find some things as we go along.

Congrats to you too cgpalmer!!
So we found out today ours is actually a 2016! I guess that is a good thing, but an unexpected development! When we went to see it yesterday there were 2 things "missing". No tile backsplash in the kitchen and no solid surface counter top on nightstands and dresser (cherry wood tops)...hummm, a change for 2016?? I have the dealer calling FR to find out why I don't have those. Didn't get to spend but a few minute in it yesterday so Thursday will be the real fun day!!!

DNDNVA, I looked at a new 2015 360RB over this past weekend and noticed a few things that were different from another 2015 360RB I had seen at a different dealer.

  • The sinks in the bathrooms were no longer stainless and were Corian or something similar.
  • The counter in the bathrooms were Formica over wood.
  • No backsplash in the master bathroom.
  • The backsplash was missing in the kitchen.
On the backsplash in the kitchen, what I realized is that on the 360RB there is two different configurations for the kitchen window. One has a small window which has the backsplash, the other has a larger, longer window which does not have the back splash. See below:

Small window with backsplash:

Large window without backsplash:

Can this be the case with your 340KP?
