New Legacy Test run

Our new Legacy is on the loose. Test run yesterday towing the Wrangler, checking out tow bar, brakes, etc. Did a little fully loaded 70 mile run up a long 6% grade and over a 4000 ft. summit. Very pleased so far. Upcoming projects, sat. antenna, and solar panels.

Looks great!

We are just waiting for the snow to melt to pick up our new Legacy - can't wait. Will tow a 2015 Wrangler. Glad to see it is towing nicely for you. What are you using for a tow bar?
Thanks for all your posts - they are really interesting

tow bar

We are using a Roadmaster Stowaway all Terrain. I know most folks use the Falcon, however we felt if there was a need to tow the Jeep with another vehicle for any reason, just made it easy. So far very pleased with our two set-up. Also installed Roadmaster Brakemaster set-up with breakaway option.

After a few short weekend runs over the last couple of weekends since we picked up our Legacy 340KP, we did a 1,500 mile run up to Canada and back this week. As newbie's this was quite an experience - but I have to say, that thanks to everyone contributing on this forum, I was well prepared, and had a great checklist of things to checkout on the trip. Overall I am really pleased with the Legacy, aside from a couple of minor cosmetic items (literally loose screws in some cabinets), the only issue we experience is some dampness in the basement. We drove 500 miles yesterday through serious thunderstorms, so it was a real test. Towed our 2015 Wrangler and barely noticed it was there. I noticed a few people said they drove right around 60 on the highway, and that is exactly where I found the best ride, minimal noise and wind, and best mileage. The ride was really great at that speed and we found that to be our cruising speed. A lot of comments on the forum about the GPS. It works, but is really confusing - think I'll be using an alternative soon.
