Night driving, insane glare and reflection (side windows)

Anyone else dealing with this? Sometimes the glare and reflection in the side windows is so bad that I can't even see the mirrors.

There must be something that can be done about this? Is there some sort of anti-glare coating or film that can be put on the side windows that anyone has tried?

On the road it makes things difficult, and backing up at night impossible sometimes.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Drive more at night & you will learn to stop seeing the glare. While this works for most people, there is a small minority that will never adjust. They even see flicker on all but the very best computer monitors. You might be one of those. There is a lot of glare from lights that we no longer notice especially from the lighting in stores. We adjust to the glare & filter it out, however it is still there.

Other solutions, don't drive at night or let the DW drive.
