We have a Berkshire 34qs with the 340. Just drove 2000 miles with a Jeep tow and have gotten 11 Mpg.

You are absolutely right. We just did a 70 mile fully loaded test run/tow, up a 6% grade and over a 4000 ft. summit. No problem. Very pleased. Our last rig was a 5th wheel pulled with a GM duramax, weight to power ratio at bit stronger than the motorhome but no complaints power wise. Anxious for a long trip.
