Propane Regulator

I tried to use the propane line for cooking (located in the compartment to the right of the entry door of the motor home). I purchased the proper hose to connect from the line to my cooking grill. When I turned the line on, I barely got enough propane to light my grill. Since I was connected to the grill thru a propane regulator, I was wondering if the line is now seeing a "double" regulation, thus prohibiting the flow of propane to the grill. I have a 2018 forest river legacy, and there is no documentation discussing this propane line.

Your grill has a regulator and is designed for High pressure propane the line from your rig is regulated propane so there is not enough pressure being supplied. You will need to modify your girl or get a different grill designed without a regulator. good luck

almost certainly you have two regulators in line (rv and grill). you only want one. two ways to accomplish this. first put a tee on the rv tank and then hook your rv line and your grill line to the two outlets on the tee. they will both be high pressure at this point.

of take the regulator off the grill and fuel it from a propane line coming from the low pressure on the rv (ie, after the rv regulator). many rv's have a quick connect fitting that you can easily connect to that does this.

there are many posts and youtube videos explaining both option. what type of grill do you have? depending on the type there are even kits sold with all the parts to do this?
