Running the water pump while on city water

I ran the water pump while on city water for 24 hours. Can that cause electrical issues? I have a brownout condition on line 2.

I would be surprised if the pump actually ran.

It should have detected the pressure in the line and turned itself off correct?

When I am at a campground with low water pressure I will run the 12 volt pump also to increase water flow for a shower and draw extra water from the fresh water tank.

If your connected to city water the pressure in your hose would not have let the pump even turn on

Brown out most likely in the park line supply breaker, one of the two tied together at the pedestal. Try resetting it first.

You don't need to use your water pump when connected to city water. That should have been covered in your PDI unless you bought from a previous owner and they neglected to mention it. Many times using the two together can cause problems by jamming the check valve at the pump thus filling the fresh water tank.

It has nothing to do with brownout conditions. Check your pedestal breaker by turning it off then back on. If that doesn't fix it then check the main breaker inside your RV by following the same procedure.

I have never used my water pump except for winterizing.
