Rust!

Have any of you noticed a lot of rust underneath the coach, especially on the metal floor supports? Is this normal? I was told it had been undercoated? I'm confused.
Has anyone found a suitable product which I could apply to prevent this.
I also had a lot of corrosion in both battery compartments.

Corrosion X is an incredible product and can be sprayed on most materials. I use it to undercoat vehicles that see salt and I also use it on the interior unprotected surfaces of metal airplanes.

Some people use ACF-50 but I have no experience with it.

I've used this for years with good results. Place a small amount in a generic household hand pump sprayer, i.e. cleaner bottle. Mist it on the rusted metal. Allow to dry 24 hours then coat with paint or other coating of your choice.
I believe its active ingredient is Phosphoric acid.

Phosphoric acid (also known as orthophosphoric acid or phosphoric(V) acid) is a mineral acid having the chemical formula H3PO4. Orthophosphoric acid refers to phosphoric acid, which is the IUPAC name for this compound.
