Side mirrors?

I'm thinking this coach should have some nice chrome mirrors.

Can't stand the crap plastic.

Anyone else have an opinion on this or look into this yet? I'm guessing the integrated cameras are plug n play.

I hear , chrome does look nice though!

I was just thinking last time I washed the coach that I could see these mirrors fading over time since they are very pourus.

They at a minimum should be a painted black to match.

If anyone knows who manufactures the mirrors, maybe we can ask them if they have chrome overlays for the front sides over the black plastic.

The Forest River rep would probably know. Anyone know his name and contact number/email?

I think Andy in parts or Mitch in warranty should know for sure about the mirrors.

I found some literature from ramco mirrors in my paperwork bin. Doesn't say what model they are but being that I have that and there is some tiny print on the actual mirror that says ramco, I'm pretty sure that is the make.

I called ramco and they are a model 1350 with cameras.

For an entire news set with chrome it is $1300.

If we take mirrors off and remove camera mirror from housing And send back to factory for chrome it is $700 and we get the new upgraded motor which eliminates the vibration in mirrors.

stealth.

Do not think Chrome would look right on my unit...maybe others would like it..

When parked I cover the mirrors and wipers to save against the sun...

Yeah it's a tough call as you won't know what it looks like until they are installed.

With my polished Alcoa aluminum wheels, tail pipe, grab handle, generator pipe I figured the mirrors would finish off the look.
