They did not include those on any Legacy's we have discovered. Check out the "mods" thread, it is covered pretty well on that thread. I checked the Carefree website and they are available for sure. Likely have to call them since they are custom length. Mid $200 ish range if I remember. I just have not done it yet. Slide toppers fry so fast in the California sun I may wait till the first fabric replacement.

I think I asked and they come in any color as long as you want black or white.

My RB is the same as Blacknchromehd - no cover on the bedroom slide.

Just installed a 156" and 60 inch Carefree of Colorado Ascent Model on my Wildcat Maxx. Easy install on the small one. Three man job on the 156 incher.

Had our first rain storm and the covers did puddle and had to be closed to dump the water.

Nice finished look on the 5th wheel though

You must have the only one. I was at the factory today and for a fact the bedroom slide does not come with one. Just a little "price point issue". No big deal for me since like I posted earlier, in So. Cal., the slide toppers fry in the sun quickly, so I may just wait. Who knows. At least the big one comes protected and it's not that big a deal to fix it.

My Legacy did not have a metal cover on the bedroom small slide topper. Purchased online from Carefree of Colorado. Came with all hardware needed for the installation. Can be done by one person - just have to find a way to brace one end in the approximate position and get the other end started.

Sorry Blacknchromehd but I don't know how to post pics yet. The fabric is 18oz and you can get black or white. Wed site Arizona RV Parts. Hope this helps you.

I was talking about the fabric only, not the whole slide. If I led anybody on with this info I did not mean to. Sorry!

Small slide awning cover

There are two other threads that cover inexpensive awning covers.

This one uses Home Depot plastic gutters. I'll be trying this one we we get home from Ozarks!

Here is the other using pipe from Lowes. Both seems like great ideas.
