1961 Shasta Entry Door Handle Assembly

Just an FYI. If you need to replace your entry door handle for some reason, the one that was shipped to me from Shasta is a direct bolt in. There are 4 screws that holds it to the door, plus the 2 little one's for the latch. The holes are drilled only so deep on the old one so the screws bottom out and you do not crush the door skin. The one I received has one hole that is threaded all the way through so you could mess things up if your not careful. I made a spacer for the screw to go through between the outside and inside part of the latch and it tightened up without crushing the skin. Reason it will crush is because the core is star foam.
