I gotta ask. How long has your "while I'm in here" list become?
I'm also a big DIYer when it comes to home and vehicle repair/maintenance, I'm chronic about taking on extra tasks when on a big project.
Also, are you considering PEX for the plumbing repairs?

I went into it knowing the plumbing would be replaced, and all the appliances.( I was not about to try and light a gas appliance from 1970 ) Yes, I will be using pex. I am suprised I was able to get the 47 year old plastic fixtures out without damage. They will get a couple of coats of gel-coat and go back in. Overall the only thing unexpected is replacing the metal pan that mounts the black water tank. I will be glad to finally reach a point where something goes back in !

3/4 plywood cut and ready to be installed. Flooring ordered, new sink, cooktop, toilet, sleeper sofa, stored in the spare bedroom . Compiling a list of plumbing needs. Ordering gel foam twin mattresses this week. This is gonna take a while !
